Try this whole food version that satisfies.


Egg Roll in a Bowl
Serves 4 – 6
30 minutes start to finish

1 lb ground pork
1/2 head of cabbage, chopped
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 Tbsp sesame oil (optional, but gives it that little extra authentic flavor)
Salt, pepper, garlic, ginger,
soy sauce (or coconut aminos) – Start small with each of these and add more according to your taste buds. 😉 Directions:
Brown the pork in the sesame oil. Add onions and carrots with a little of whichever liquid you choose (soy or coconut) and cover. Stir & let simmer 10 – 15 minutes. Add the cabbage, a little more liquid, and the seasonings. Stir again, cover and let simmer 5 – 10 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Once the cabbage is soft, it’s ready! Add more liquid and seasonings if needed, then scoop into a bowl and enjoy!!! If you try this recipe and like it, I’d love to hear from you!
